Description: Layla is on a mission: find a ticket to a sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve concert and maybe, just maybe, reconnect with the man of her dreams. Cue a whirlwind New York City race, holiday hijinks, and a couple of charming suitors vying for her attention. Itโs the kind of story where you can root for love, laughs, and the occasional perfectly timed snowballโฆ metaphorically speaking.
Chemistry: Christina Milian shines with both of her romantic options, making every choice feel like a credible love triangle. Personally, I was quietly rooting for the underdogโletโs just say their sparks had a little extra glitter.
Plot: The story takes its time without dragging, giving the romance and the Pentatonix subplot room to shine. Having the band play an exaggerated version of themselves was the perfect sprinkle of meta-holiday magic, and they stuck around long enough to make their presence matter.
Design: With a Netflix NYC budget, the sets are polished, festive, and just realistic enough to make you wish you had the same citywide access to Christmas lights and concert tickets.
Overall: A solid four trees. Fun, festive, and well-paced, with just enough charm to make you smile throughout. Not quite a five-tree rewatch contender, but close enough that youโll happily queue it up again next holiday season.
