Description: Olivia (Erin Krakow) is a successful interior designer whose childhood letter to Santa comes back to haunt her—in the best way. Santa once promised she’d meet the love of her life by Christmas Eve, and his name would be… Nick. Fast forward, and Olivia suddenly finds herself surrounded by not one, not two, but three Nicks. As she gamely tests out her Christmas wish, she also starts noticing sparks with her co-worker Chris (Daniel Lissing). Now she’s racing the holiday clock to figure out whether Santa’s handwriting is fate, coincidence, or just really complicated matchmaking.
Chemistry: Krakow and Lissing slip back into their familiar rhythm with ease, like two actors who know exactly how to play off each other’s energy. Their history from When Calls the Heart pays dividends here—every scene between them clicks.
Plot: The “childhood letter to Santa” trope has been around the holiday movie block a few times, but this twist—dropping multiple Nicks into Olivia’s path—was genuinely fun. The story balanced whimsy with sincerity, and it kept me guessing which direction Olivia would actually go.
Design: With the lead character being a professional designer, the production team had a tall order. Fortunately, the sets were up to the challenge. The home transformations were believable and polished, and the Christmas decorations struck that “classic timeless” note—festive without ever veering into plastic tinsel chaos.
Overall: This is one of those cozy, satisfying four-tree picks that feels like settling in with a Hallmark mug of cocoa. The Nicks storyline adds freshness, the design work is strong, and Krakow and Lissing bring chemistry to spare. You may come for the holiday magic, but you’ll stay to see how Olivia untangles her heart.
