Rating: 🎄🎄
Premier Date: November 8, 2025
Description: A rising star reporter must uncover the identity of a local late-night bandit who has been stealing beautiful home Christmas displays across the city. Starring Brittany Bristow and Olivier Renaud.
Chemistry: Bristow and Renaud are both solid performers, but together? I kept waiting for sparks, but all I got was polite professionalism. They could have played siblings really well.
Plot: “Reporter meets detective to solve a Christmas crime” sounds promising, right? Unfortunately, the story couldn’t decide if it wanted to be a mystery or a holiday flick. The whiplash was real—and not in a good, twisty-mystery kind of way.
Design: Bless the production team for filming in real snow, because that’s the nicest thing I can say here. Between the random gift boxes in the newsroom, the door bows, and the sad trees, it looked more like an estate sale than a well-designed set.
Overall: Let’s just say my phone’s battery took a serious hit from all the Candy Crush I played during this one. It’s technically a movie, and it aired during the holidays—that’s about where the magic ends.
Best Enjoyed With: Something strong to drink and zero expectations.
