Rating: 🎄🎄
Premiere Date: November 26, 2025
Description: At the height of the holiday season, two strangers team up to rob one of London’s most famous department stores while accidentally falling in love.
Chemistry: The leads had functional chemistry. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t compelling either. It simply got the job done without adding much.
Plot: The premise is decent, but morally ambiguous protagonists are always a tough sell when the movie expects you to root for them. The story drags heavily in the middle, making the journey to the end feel longer than it should.
Design: The department store looked great and appropriately indulgent. The contrast between the store’s extravagance and the characters’ real lives was handled well. However, if you’re hoping for classic “London at Christmas” ambiance, this isn’t the movie that will give it to you.
Overall: A disappointing watch. It starts strong but loses steam fast, only regaining momentum during the final heist. The twist at the end was clever, but the slog to get there wasn’t worth it.
Best Enjoyed With: A cup of peppermint tea and low expectations.
