Description: Unexpectedly single at Christmas, Veronica Cleary joins The X-Mas Club-a festive foodie group for solo celebrators. As she grows close to its kind founder, Cullen Murdock, she wonders if the rule of staying single was meant to be broken.
Overall: It’s not worth your time. I quit paying attention halfway through and filled in the ending using my imagination. If you are going to watch it, make sure you watch a commercial-free version so you can save yourself 30 minutes. The plot was unimaginative and boring. I’m not opposed to a story where you can call the ending from the beginning. There’s some comfort in that. But this one was just a bit too pat. And I’m pretty sure I heard some AI generated dialogue in there, as well.
