Description: Claire’s fresh start turns chilling when eerie holiday decorations begin appearing in her apartment… each one a message from someone who knows her too well. Who is the dangerous “Secret Santa” watching her?
Overall: It was adequate. This one starts out with a classic Christmas movie feel in a small town that’s just bursting with Christmas cheer. But when Claire goes to the big city and leaves that world behind, things take a sinister turn. Depending on your level of amateur sleuthing, you may or may not be able to solve this one before the end as it came a bit out of left field. It also wasn’t lost on me that this one was the ironic opposite of our usual Christmas movie, with the girl leaving the Christmassy small town for the big city. If you’re looking to cleanse your palate with something different, give it a try. It got a bit slow, but it was still worth a bit of my time, so not a wash overall.
