Description: Vera works part-time as a newspaper’s puzzle editor and as a consultant for the local sheriff. After being invited by a wealthy family to spend the holidays with them, the patriarch has been murdered and it’s up to Vera to solve the case.
Overall: File this one under the “so bad it’s good” category. Vera is comically awkward as the lead and the entire thing is just a bit ridiculous, but in a way that makes you want to keep watching. The Christmas decorations are horrible, so that’s a mark down for them. But I think if they were better the sub-par acting wouldn’t fit.
