Overall: Okay, I’ll start by saying that I’m giving this one four trees even though I want to give it three and a half. I’m feeling some late-season generosity. I did not, for one second, buy Tyler Hilton as a professional hockey player. Luckily for him, Arielle Kebel was playing opposite, and her acting would be stellar even if she were playing opposite a coat rack. Bad male casting aside, the plot was interesting and believable. I didn’t love the teen actor, but I try to give the younger cast the benefit of the doubt because what they’re doing isn’t easy. This one is a bit “spicier” than your normal Hallmark fare, but still tame. Just saying, maybe don’t watch it with younger kids in the room unless you want to explain some things. 😉
