Premiere Date: December 20, 2025
Description: When Sophie (Bure) and Sam (Mathison) see their own love story turned into a Christmas movie, their small hometown of Waynesbridge, Washington, transforms into a real-life holiday film set. But as the spotlight grows brighter, the couple must navigate the pressures of fame and expectation β and discover whether their love story can outshine the cameras.
Overall: I’m not normally a fan of Christmas movie sequels, particularly in this genre. Most of the time, there is a backstory that just doesn’t communicate to the new movie’s plot, and I end up less invested. That said, this sequel wasn’t as terrible as I was expecting. I didn’t see last year’s initial movie, but I felt like there was enough plot to keep this one moving along. It wasn’t stellar, and there certainly wasn’t anything new or groundbreaking about it, but if you’re looking for Sophie and Sam’s story to be wrapped up nicely, go for it.
