Overall: If you were planning to tune in to Hallmark’s Christmas Under Construction tonight expecting a brand-new Christmas in July premiere, there’s something you should know. While it’s new to Hallmark, the movie actually debuted in 2024 on Hulu under the title Renovation Romance. Hallmark has simply rebranded the film for its Christmas in July lineup. So if you’ve already seen Renovation Romance, you’ve already seen tonight’s “new” movie. It’s still worth watching if you’re a fan of Jessica Lowndes and Daniel Lissing—but don’t expect an all-new story.
